Mary Beth Sullivan is a founder and the Managing Partner of Capital Performance Group, LLC. She leads the firm’s Strategic Planning practice, working closely with Executive Management and Boards of Directors on strategy engagements, providing insights into emerging industry trends and helping these teams to navigate them, build new revenue streams, and create efficient operating models to achieve targeted business and financial results. Mary Beth has worked with hundreds of financial institutions to create strategic plans that align the organization around a shared vision and shared goals.
Mary Beth and her teammates have extensive experience facilitating effective planning meetings, creating and fielding detailed Board surveys, and helping management teams define specific actions with timing and financial impacts, resulting in high confidence in achieving defined goals.
CPG partners each year with American Banker to assess bank industry performance, rank the Top Performing Banks in the U.S., and provide commentary on the factors driving high performance in the banking industry. Mary Beth is a frequent speaker at national conferences on topics such as strategy, competition, emerging industry trends, and best practices in U.S. financial services companies.
Before forming CPG in 2001, Mary Beth worked as a Senior Managing Director at Furash & Company, a management consulting firm in Washington, DC, and held a variety of management positions at JPMorgan Chase in New York. Mary Beth has a B.S. degree in Finance from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
