Ally Akins

Ally Akins is a Principal and Co-Lead of the Sales and Marketing Practice at Capital Performance Group, LLC, where she advises financial services organizations on growth strategy, marketing effectiveness, and revenue optimization. She works closely with senior leadership teams to design and implement strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.

Ally has extensive experience leading client engagements focused on marketing strategy and planning, product and service redesign, sales enablement, performance marketing, and strategic planning. She is responsible for owning key client relationships, expanding existing engagements, originating new client relationships, and contributing to the development of scalable marketing-focused products and services.

As Co-Lead of the Sales and Marketing Practice, Ally plays a central role in shaping the firm’s marketing consulting capabilities, translating client needs and market insights into repeatable offerings that support long-term growth. She is also actively involved in mentoring and developing analysts and consultants, helping build a high-performing, collaborative team.

Ally frequently serves as a subject-matter expert on marketing and growth strategy, contributing to thought leadership, speaking engagements, and media-related initiatives on behalf of Capital Performance Group. She is a frequent speaker at Virginia Bankers Association events and the ABA Bank Marketing Conference, and has authored many articles in the the ABA Banking Journal.

She holds degrees in Marketing and Government and Politics from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
